The "Mc'Crackin Classic" 2025

A memorial golf tournament honoring the life of Hunter Hottenroth who left a lasting impact on everyone lucky enough to know him. Hunter felt most at home surrounded by the people he loved, whether it was spending time with family, being Uncle “Tito” to his nieces and nephews, out on the golf course, painting, or catching a sunset at the beach.

Now in its second year, the “McCrackin Classic” brings together friends and family for a fun, unforgettable day in his memory. 

This year’s tournament will take place on:

July 19th, 2025, with a 10AM start at Penmar Golf Course. 

We’ll be playing a lighthearted 5-person scramble — just the way Hunter would’ve wanted it.

More than just a round of golf, this is a day to share stories, reconnect, and celebrate the energy, humor, and kindness Hunter brought into every life.

You may gather at Hunter’s “FOLKS’ House", before or after your round of golf.

  • There will be food and some cocktails.
  • Please bring what you would like to drink or share at the celebration.

PS: Hunter’s Uncles’ band “Venice” AKA “Pine Mountain Logs” will be playing @ “Venice West”. Would love to have people join us.  Please call the venue for more details.
